Ages in this group range from 0-3 years so activities are simple but fun! Nursery is mainly playtime and snacks, with music and activities based on what the teacher has planned.
Ages in this group are 4-8. Fun learning activities, books, free play, and snack time are all apart of class time at this age.
Love of learning classes are for ages 8-11. These classes are more in depth than our core classes. Click to learn more.
Ages 11-18 These are in depth classes meant to be a main curriculum. Students will have weekly homework. Click to learn more.
Sign and turn in paperwork, including the Hold Harmless Agreement and Code of Conduct by the first day of class. Copies will be available in case they are forgotten, and should be filled out before participation in classes.
Agree to have at least one adult attend 25% of Parent Meetings within the year. This includes one mandatory workshop focusing on A Thomas Jefferson Education, by Oliver Demille. If this meeting is missed the book should be read and discussed with the Parent Representative Co-Chairman.
Agree to serve in appropriate volunteer positions such as Fundraising Committee, Events Committee, Facility Committee, Student Council Committee or others as needed.
Participate in a weekly debriefs and a monthly junior school training which will take place during school hours.
Complete the Boy Scouts of America (BSA) Youth Protection training or other Certified Youth Protection Training and turn in a copy of their certificate to the Junior School Director.
Attend parent classes, as available, in order to integrate new families with the TJEd culture and philosophy, continue the parent’s education, provide an example to students of Future Statesmen Academy, and encourage camaraderie and collaboration among families. (Optional for scholar parents.)
